To Our Valued Patients,


We regret to inform you that Highgate Medical Group will no longer admit patients to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital as of 12/5/21.  This was not an easy decision for us by any means - one that we've struggled with over many years.  Despite being so rewarding for us to care for you when you are at your sickest, the ability to adequately cover an ever-growing patient census there led to very frequent schedule changes.  This ultimately negatively affected the service we were providing you here in our office which is where our priorities will always lie.  We were among the last privately-owned physician groups to still admit to the hospital and for good reason as it has become too taxing to maintain the high quality of patient care that you rightly need and deserve while still maintaining our responsibilities to patient care elsewhere.  We look forward to optimizing more time to take care of your needs here in the office and we have also expanded into four local subacute rehabilitation and long-term care facilities through the McGuire Group, namely Harris Hill, Gardengate, Northgate, and Autumnview.  Should you need post-acute care following your hospital stay, we encourage you to consider one of these facilities as the same providers that know you so well here will be the ones caring for you there.


Should you need acute hospitalization in the future at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, we leave you in very good hands.  Infinity Medical of WNY, led by Dr. John Patti, is an incredibly skilled group of providers who have our full confidence in their ability to care for you while there.  We appreciate your understanding and look forward to maintaining the high quality of care you are accustomed to.

For most telehealth services (video and phone visits), patients are responsible for paying the same amount that they would if the service was provided in person.

Highgate will not be receiving the Covid-19 Vaccine. We are encouraging our patients to go to their pharmacy to get vaccinated.

If you have any of the following symptoms please do not come into the office as we will not be able to see you: 
Fever or chills, cough/congestion, difficulty breathing, sore throat, headache, fatigue, myalgias, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, loss of taste/smell 
Instead call the office for a virtual visit!

Our office continues to adapt to these ever-changing times brought on by the current COVID-19 pandemic.  We are still using virtual visits over the phone or video to meet many of your health care needs, but we are seeing you face-to-face in the office as well.  Rest assured, our office will be maintained as a clean facility with proper COVID prescreening, PPE, and social distancing measures in place to ensure a safe environment for you to attain your medical care.  We will not be treating any suspected COVID symptoms in the office in an effort to keep you and our staff safe.  We continue working tirelessly on your behalf to get us all through this worldwide emergency.
